Retreat details

The theme of this retreat is Connection; specifically, the connection between you and your body, you and your joy, a celebration of the 'body of life' you inhabit. Through the practice of Vinyasa Flow Yoga, focused meditations, free movement and relaxation, this retreat aims to facilitate greater connection and sense of expansion, pranayama, and living close to nature in a Shepherd's hut, we will bring ourselves back into natural harmony and return home happy, healthy and thriving.

Catering Choices: 2 x Three-course evening meals and Full English breakfasts will be served in Rydal Hall's dining room. Including vegetarian options.

Favourite teabags for the shepherd's hut are always useful, along with coffee/milk if required, and of course chocolate!

Walks: Some of the most stunning walks in the Lake District are right from your hut door so please bring comfortable layered clothes, good walking footwear and of course, waterproofs (just in case).

The Classes:

This retreat has been designed for people at all levels in their Yoga practice. From the complete beginner who is ready to listen in to the bodies wisdom a little more and start enjoying greater movement; to more intermediate/regular yogis who wish to extend their knowledge and experience or just give themselves time away. There will deep, nourishing relaxation as well as physical breath-aligned movement.

I have factored in time for reflection, walking or whatever takes your fancy, so you will have plenty of time during your weekend away!
